A Community of Mindful Living in the Tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh in Kalispell, Montana

Our vision is to offer support to one another as we nurture our practice of mindfulness, joy and peace.  We believe that by practicing together, stilling the mind and body, and by looking deeply at causes of suffering we can begin to cultivate openness, compassion, inclusiveness, and well being within ourselves, our families, our community, our environment, and our world.

Meets: Every Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm

February 2019

February 7- Death Cafe.  Join us for a positive open discussion of death and dying.(Please note that we may go until 9:00 p.m. if needed.)

February 14-  “Trust and Confidence” from Mindfulness as Medicine by Sister Dang Nhiem.

February 21-  Fourteen Mindfulness Trainings of the Order of Interbeing.

February 28-  Continuing “Trust and Confidence” from Mindfulness as Medicine.

Noon meditation continues on Mondays at 12:05-12:55.



Meditation    6:30 - 7:30
Meditation begins with 20 minutes of guided meditation, followed by 10 minutes of walking meditation, and then a 20 minute silent sitting meditation. Chairs are available.

Dharma Sharing   7:30 - 8:30
Dharma sharing is an opportunity for us to develop relationships with one another as we practice deep listening and loving speech. This is also an opportunity to ask questions and share our mindfulness practice with one another. 

5 Mindfulness Trainings   
The Five Mindfulness Trainings represent the Buddhist vision for a global spirituality and ethic.  They are a concrete expression of the Buddha's teachings on the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path, the path of right understanding and true love, leading to healing, transformation, and happiness fro ourselves and for the world.


Sangha meditation is offered freely, however, your donations are appreciated. Our weekly rent recently increased. Thank you for your generosity.
