Open Way Mindfulness Center is a multi-use facility in Missoula Montana. Home to Open Way Sangha, the Center also hosts many other community classes and events year-round.

Our sangha is in the Zen based tradition of the Order of Interbeing, part of a world-wide network of communities inspired by the teachings and practices of Thich Nhat Hanh.

Open Way is located at 702 Brooks in Missoula.  And check out our sister sanghas, Flowing Mountains in Helena and Open Sky in Kalispell.

Kalispell Open Sky Sangha Celebration!

You are invited to help us celebrate OPEN SKY Sangha's offering of meditation and mindfulness practice in Flathead Valley for two years!

We have rented the Boiler Room, Saturday evening, February 11th from 6:00-9:00 for an OPEN SKY, OPEN MIC, Silent Auction Social Event! (see attached flyer and feel free to post)

Please bring family and friends to listen or participate! You may bring your voice, poem, instrument, story, or expressive piece to share during open mic; we already have a few wonderful talents lined up for the evening! We will have birthday cake, light hor devours, and refreshments; feel free to bring something to compliment our assortment. And finally, to help us create an interesting and unusual silent auction, please consider donating something beautiful, funky, homemade, artsy, creative, joyful, simple, unique, useful, new or used! Items may range from candles to jewelery to books to art, use your imagination! (Bring items to meditation on Wednesday evening or drop off on Gina's porch-810 3rd Ave. East by Saturday noon, Feb. 11th).

You may wonder why, a silent auction? Our aspiration as a mindfulness community are to continue offering meditation and Days of Mindfulness to our Flathead community. We are part of a greater Montana affiliated with Open Way Mindfulness Center in Missoula and Flowing Mountains Sangha in Helena, and together we offer two residential Montana retreats a year. In addition, our sangha helps to bring mindfulness into Montana prisons through Open Gate, at Open Sky we have members who are being trained to help with retreats led by members of Open Way Sangha in Missoula and Helena. Your financial support helps to offer scholarships for retreats, pay for transportation of Open Gate Volunteers, support various efforts of bringing mindfulness into the Flathead, and connect us to mindful actions throughout Montana and beyond.
