Open Way Mindfulness Center is a multi-use facility in Missoula Montana. Home to Open Way Sangha, the Center also hosts many other community classes and events year-round.

Our sangha is in the Zen based tradition of the Order of Interbeing, part of a world-wide network of communities inspired by the teachings and practices of Thich Nhat Hanh.

Open Way is located at 702 Brooks in Missoula.  And check out our sister sanghas, Flowing Mountains in Helena and Open Sky in Kalispell.   

Open Way Practice

Our Traditional Sangha meeting. Every Tuesday, from 6:30 p.m. until meditation starts at 7pm, tea and conversation are available in the library/kitchen area. You may bring your own sitting cushion or bench to meditation or use one of the cushions or chairs available at the Center.

Meditation goes from 7:00-9:00pm - please arrive on time, we start promptly at 7:00pm. The first hour consists of 2 twenty minute sitting periods with walking meditation in between. The second hour changes from week to week, please see below for schedule.

Open to all, free but donations appreciated. No experience necessary. Meditation in the style of Thich Nhat Hanh. For more information on Thich Nhat Hanh go to www.plumvillage.org.
