Open Way is actively served locally by Dharma Teacher Rowan Conrad and OI Core Community Members Greg Grallo, Nicole Dunn, David Maslanka and Corrie Schilling. Rowan received Lamp Transmission from Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh in 2004. Spiritual Leadership is also well educated and experienced in the work-a-day world.  Rowan has degrees in Chemistry and Counseling.  He trained counselors at the University of Montana for a decade.  Nicole has a degree in Children's Literature and operated an environmental goods store called Earth Folk for a couple of years.  She is the founder of Be Here Now, Open Way's Monday night meditation group.  Greg has a master's degree in Environmental Studies and works as a Hospice chaplain.  David's Ph.D. is in composition and earns his living as a classical composer.  Corrie is a manager at a local organic food store and has an active and beautiful son named Thatcher.   

Guest teachers who have led our fall and spring retreats include: Sister Annabel and Sister Jina from Plum Village, Eileen Kiera from the Mountain Lamp Community who was our teacher for many years, Arnie Kotler and Therese Fitzgerald, Chan Huy (Minh Tran), Jack and Laurie Lawlor, Michael Ciborski, Cheri Maples and most recently Larry & Peggy Ward.
