Missoula Interfaith Collaborative Partnership

Missoula Interfaith Collaborative (MIC):
Open Way/Be Here Now Partnership Info

What the MIC Does: MIC maps resources and passions in congregations, conducts community needs assessments, and coordinates a network of congregation and community leaders. This information and network are used to catalyze initiatives that bridge gaps in social services and address community challenges.
Our Involvement: Open Way & Be Here Now are partners with the MIC.  Working with other faith groups to build relationships and join together on community service projects is of great benefit to our greater Missoula community.  Our tradition speaks of the importance of coming together, connection, and being of service to others so that we may benefit all beings.  As our partnership continues to unfold you will hear more about our work together with the MIC and how you can get involved - so stay tuned!

Food Drive: One such effort of collaboration is our annual August food drive for the Missoula Food Bank.  Many faith groups have signed up for particular months in order to spread out the food drives throughout the year.  We've chosen August because it is the hardest time of year for the Food Bank in terms of donations offered.  By collecting financial contributions it allows the Food Bank to purchase the items they are most in need of.
August 2016: We collected $150.00
August 2015: We collected $132.00
August 2014: We collected $242.10
August 2013: We collected $151.00
